I have a feeling they were using leftover footage by the time Cossacks was produced.
They used a lot from Jack O'Diamonds in Plague.

I have never been able to see that hand when I'm watching Arrow. Must have bad eyes.

I don't think it shows up in Arrow, only Cossacks. They must have used footage they did not include in Arrow and, as usual, thought, who's gonna notice?

No, the Arrow scene is used in Cossacks--and here is where we see the mysterious helping hand at the very bottom of the pic. That is awesomely cool! I never knew about this!

I never noticed it until someone pointed it out--possibly DT. Then I took the screen cap!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet in this thread. A member on the other board pointed it out and I (of course) went to find a screen cap. It's in Surreal McCoy, just as Jim leaves the Ambassador's room (before the fight) you can see a cameraman or someone reflected in the other room as Jim closes the door. Never noticed it before! I lightened the picture to make it even more clear.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I've been out of the loop lately. Was watching TNOT Wizard Shook the Earth last night, followed by the first part of TNOT Sudden Death and in both of them RC is wearing a plain gold band on the little finger of his left hand. It doesn't have anything to do with the plot or the action, so must be a personal ring. This is the same finger he rubs when he's thinking, almost as if he was twisting a ring.
Just wondering...any ideas??

Something curious here, at least to me. This is from the tag of Kraken. Jim says that he's looking at the 'little black book' of a recently married acquaintance. But in the first view of the book, well, it just doesn't look like an address book to me.

Unless that rich playboy who gave them the book had his "contacts" printed up at a print shop!
We certainly know from other instances how the prop department substituted things. The Spanish money in one instance; the strange letter that was supposed to be a thank-you note from the Egyptian princess when she sent them the diamond, among others. I think there was Confederate money someplace.

Guess I'll have to look. Don't know if I have any screen caps that reveal it. Could it be that because he got married so young, his wedding ring no longer fit the 2nd finger?

Here's a shot from the early scenes of Wizard and you can see the ring on Jim's pinky. However, just a short bit later, after Artie leaves and the gal comes in, the ring does not appear to be on his hand. Might have been a case where he forgot to take it off, then someone reminded him--but they didn't refilm for such a minor thing.

From the size of the book and the tininess of the print, I wonder is it a pocket testament? I can't tell for sure if some of the print is red; if it is, that's probably what sort of book props gave him.

And here's one from Sudden Death where the ring shows quite clearly.

You know, I wondered the same thing.

Thread resurrection. I don't know how many times I've watched this and never took a close enough look to see it till now, but here's a cap from the opening animation, b&w style: And look at her face! That's a smile, isn't it? I never noticed till now!

Well, she was just kissed by Jim West. Why wouldn't she smile?

LOL! Well...it's just bad etiquette to stab a man who kisses you and leaves that kind of smile on your face. And look at Marie in Terror Stalked the Town...she knows too. ;D ;D

And here's one from Sudden Death where the ring shows quite clearly. well, silly me, I just noticed this thread and I love all the 'catches', but this one with the ring really makes me grin... because, even though it does look like a plain gold band on RC's pinky finger, it also happens to be historical that West Point graduates at that period, and I believe until changes came in the 20th century, designed their own class rings each year and wore them on their little fingers, using the design set into the top of the ring as a 'stamp' when sealing their letters. So, I'm smiling because, I do write Jim as a West Pointer in my fan fics and here's 'Jim' with a ring on his little finger, and when the ring's not there, he rubs that finger, as if moving the ring around on it... now, someone is certainly going to point out that W3 'canon' doesn't say where Jim went to college, only that he studied ... geology with Professor Robie, BUT W3 canon doesn't say Jim didn't go to West Point, either. so thanks for the pictures, again CG, and for the support for my whacked out imagination... I know Jim doesn't wear a class ring any time that we see him, and I know he tells the Pernell Roberts fake post commander that West Pointers never take off their class rings... BUT here's my out on that point... and its just my opinion, of course, not set in stone anywhere at all ... Artie and Jim are spies... as open as they often seem to be about being Secret Service agents, they are government agent provocateurs, and so whatever personas they may demonstrate for the public and especially for the bad guys may even require them to go without personal effects from their 'real lives'... maybe. ;D ;D take this as merely a writer's theory, with as much salt as you like,
