Thanks for all your kind words... As a family we are grieving but each day it gets a little easier my other two kitties are still looking for her and refuse to eat out of her side of the dish. My human family came by today or at least part of them and noticed it wasn't the same. Thank you again I know this probably wasn't the best place to post this but I consider all of you good friends and i needed to share.  |

This is my niece's cat, Buddha. She says he sleeps most of the time with a paw over his eyes--as if he's trying to block out the light. As you can see, he has lots of hair! I thought the pic was too great not to share! |

that is SOOO cute! Duke likes to sleep on his back with his paws pulled up so he almost looks like a beaver or an otter floating on his back in water. I'll have to see if I can sneak a picture...he seems to smell the camera and he always wakes up and glares at you lol

Same with Princess. She will sometimes put a paw over her face when she's sleeping, but as soon as I turn the camera on, she pops up. I don't know whether they can hear the lens opening or what! Same thing happens when she wanders around with her fuzzy mouse in her mouth. I grab the camera and she drops it! Lisa did say that she had trouble getting a picture of Buddha like this, so I guess he does the same thing.

Yeah, I have to say that the few times I've tried to take a picture with my camera, the cats are onto that too. They do say that cats have super hearing! ;D

This morning Brandy posed prettily for me in, of all places, the bathroom window. The frosted glass and the vase of silk flowers made a nice background, I think. |

Hahahahaha! That is too funny!! Once upon a time, a long time ago, I took a picture of my oldest brother while he lay asleep on the floor in front of the TV. He looked exactly like that except he was wearing swim trunks and had a toothpick stuck in his lips. ;D

Brandy sometimes lays like that. She just kind of spreads over the floor or couch or wherever she's laying. When Princess does it, it's usually against me and I'm supposed to rub her belly. She never seems to tire of a belly rub.

I should get some pictures of Charlie, my Mother's cat, if you want to see a big cat. Duke is tiny compared to Charlie. The last time Mama had him at the vet he weighed 24#. He'll actually let you give him a belly rub.....mostly. |
