Ever notice how sometimes you get something to crack you up just when you really need it? I just got this from a puns group I'm on:
Crazy Aunt Maude received a letter one morning, and upon reading it burst into floods of tears. "What's the matter?" asked her companion. "Oh dear,"sobbed Auntie, "It's my favorite nephew. He's got three feet." "Three feet?" exclaimed her friend. "Surely that's not possible?" "Well," said Auntie, "his mother's just written to tell me he's grown another foot."

Oh well, I wondered whether a mere chicken could do that much damage. But Jim and Artie could make great use of a frozen chicken! Although frozen meat was a little harder to come by in the 1870s... |

Think of what they could do with a turkey!! (And Artie did say he could never get enough turkey!) I've got a 14 pounder in my fridge at the moment waiting to be brined. |

I am glad I only use fresh poultry for my cooking! These frozen bird can be leathal! LOL

We're having the same thing this year for Thanksgiving dinner as last year. Relatives!  The Turkey, the Parrot and the In-laws Kindly sent in by CodyMartha had a parrot called Brutus, the only problem was that Brutus cussed something awful. Now Martha was having her in-laws over for Thanksgiving, and so she needed to train Brutus quickly not to swear. Just before her Mother-in-law was due Brutus cussed terribly, so Martha put him in the freezer for 2 minutes to literally cool off. Then she opened the door and took out the parrot along with the turkey. 'And have you learned your lesson about cussing?' Martha asked the parrot.
