12 now, so someone else is sneaking in there.
Afraid it's never going to catch Gunsmoke though.
Pet, are you going to post this on the other site?

I just did my vote--It's up to 14 now. It wouldn't let me vote more than once-- yet. ;D

Interestingly, I believe it just allowed me to vote twice. I only opened the site to see the current results and it showed the poll. So I clicked Wild Wild West again and it appeared to go through! Up to 23 now.

I've been able to vote twice today, so our show is now at 27 votes. We can take Gunsmoke in a few days, I'd bet, especially with both forums going at it.

The funny thing is that I didn't clear my cookies or use a different browser. Going by the timestamps on this thread where I posted right after my two votes, I waited about three hours between votes.
(Wonder if I can vote again now? Ha! Nope! But we're up to 30 votes now.)

My vote is in there somewhere. And I'll try, try again.
However, IMHO, www is far too special and unique to be classified as a mere "western". It's so wonderfully much more!

It's up to 33 now-- If everyone on this board, the other WWW board and even the NEW Golden Spikes WWW board votes, it will definitely pass up Gunsmoke easy!!

Awesome, CalGal!! Funny I just looked at the votes again and noticed The Rifleman is nearly at the bottom with only 2 votes, and that's the show CBS decided to re-boot as a new series again soon instead of WWW!! What the heck were they thinking?

And also noticed "The Big Valley" wasn't included. I wonder why that is?

Okay, I know I'm biased but there are some other inclusions and exceptions here that just don't make sense, either: We have Alias Smith and Jones, Cimarron Strip, and Bret Maverick listed but No Wagon Train that carried on for 8 seasons? no Have Gun Will Travel? and yes, my bias again, no Laramie, either? Sheesh

Yeah, there were a lot of great westerns that aren't on the list. Don't know how these were selected. The site owner's favorites?

Here's another thought...why does this poll really matter? It isn't for an award or anything, soooo...
Just stirring the pot ;D

Oh yeah-- forgot about those other missing westerns just mentioned. So that's 4 major classics that weren't included.
And I also wonder what this list would lead toward--another re-boot, or the first one that will start going to Blu-ray maybe, or back on national TV broadcast channels (well some already are actually.)
Good question.

;D Just got here and read this thread. I voted! Will try again tomorrow.
There may not be any awards but it sure makes a statement about our preferences for Western viewing. Maybe it will help convince more stations to play our favorite program!

There doesn't seem to be a way to find out who is holding this poll. Just a fan? Or something "official"?

Okay. I voted again today AND posted the link over at the BTTWWW board.
Not that it means anything - we all KNOW which is the best - but every lil bit helps!
Latest count: Gunsmoke 59; WWW 51. I actually thought Bonanza would fare better than it has. {{{shrugs}}}}}

Not enough coverage by their fan site, is all. I had a dream about Lorne Green the other night...I kept trying to remember his real name, instead of Ben. It wouldn't come to me, and he wouldn't tell! LOL!

Huh. Figured out what it is for...Netflix. I keep getting pop ups from them and wondered why...it's an ad generator! At home it pops up under my screen, at work it pops up over it, which is how I noticed.
