Ok I'll start this off as a Wild Wild West Favorite Scenes and the rest of you I would like you to share. I'm going to start with Season 3. Bubbling Death the scene with James & Artie wearing his smoke pack escaping the compound. Firebrand the scene where James is tied up on the pole and escapes then takes a bow. Assassin the fight scene in the pottery shop with James and Artie dressed like an old man father. Dr. Loveless Died the operation room scene with Loveless, James on the table tied down and Artie as the scientist doctor. Jack O Diamonds the shoot out at the end and every time James is on a horse both Superstar and Jack O Samurai the end fight scene Hangman the investigation scene in the building where both James and Artie found the evidence then had to escape because of the fire. Montezuma's Hordes all the desert scenes Legion of Death when James pushes Artie off the wagon Turncoat most of all James scenes Iron fist when Superstar dumps the count scene and James is laughing Running Death James fight scene in the bar and the meet up with Artie at the campfire Vipers the fight scene of course and the part where James almost gets blown up and flips in the air Underground Terror when Artie comes in as a rock hound and James is shackled up the whole fight scene and the big tear. Death masks the scene where Artie and James is fighting and they don't know it is each other. I have more to come

Arwen - you must be new to boards. Old threads often go off topic, and as long as the originator of the thread doesn't object, away they go.
Just add your favorite scenes to bring it back to topic. Simple as that.

You picked some good scenes. Some of them are favorites of mine as well, especially the Hangman one. And the Death Masks one. So intense and heartbreaking, gah.
Are we doing this by season (i.e., everyone starts with season 3)? Or do we each start with whatever season we feel like?

This is a good thread too and will start thinking of favorite scenes too. I gotta scroll thru each ep to remember. I'm sure it's just any scene from any ep from any season you think of as you remember. Doesn't need to begin with Season 3.

I liked in the Big Blackmail that whole scene when Jim is holding the lever while Artie was in the safe. And of course the end with the slap stick comedy. ;D Fugitives had that whole scene with Jim flying through the window and the fight is on! even with that chandelier then later the steeple stunt with the zip line. Man eating house had a few good ones, Jim and Artie walking through the cob webs, again the evil chandelier falling on Artie with Jim saving the day. Surreal McCoy the gunfight scene near the end.

Oh no this is for any season I just wanted to start off with season 3 so feel free to go from there. Winged Terror the scene when Frank Harper does his little trick on James's hand and it turns out the explosive was dangerous. I really like the episodes with Frank Harper in them he seems to be just as good or better of a partner than Artie, I like them both as James's partner too bad all three couldn't have worked together as a thought. Pistoleros the scene where they want to hang James they get into a gunfight James seems to have a nice gadget to put on his gun! Then when James sees Artie is still alive, that was a great moment they captured.

My absolute favorite scenes in the WWW are all of the times Jim is riding his black horse. I think he and that black horse are so cool. In a way that horse is like Jim's black BMW or Ferrari so Jack O Diamonds has IT for me. Even with that beaut of a horse, the Arabian all those horse scenes are me favorite. Jack O Diamonds all horse scenes. ;D Arwen you nailed a lot of my fav. scenes also there babe You picked some good scenes. Some of them are favorites of mine as well, especially the Hangman one. And the Death Masks one. So intense and heartbreaking, gah. Are we doing this by season (i.e., everyone starts with season 3)? Or do we each start with whatever season we feel like? Thanks for mentioning that Ladybug, thats another observation and element I love is the intensity and heartbreak. Ross Martin does know how to do the great heartbreaking scenes and he can be intense. Makes the WWW great, the chemistry of those two actors. and including any female actors that come along too. They always work good together with the guys. comical, dramatic, intense

Excellent Apollo you're absolutely right. I just love all the Jim and horse scenes when he is riding Superstar and other beautiful horses also.
Any and all zip line stunt scenes of Jim.
The opening to Wolf and the wolf attacking Jim the second time, I thought it was a very dramatic scene.
Artie playing the violin at the beginning and ending of Casual Killer. And Artie's Hamlet. ;D

was it on a different thread here that someone mentioned how either Superstar or one of the other horses Robert usually rode on the series was somewhat headstrong and would often 'ride away' with Robert or whoever was mounted?
It was an article I think talking about how the directors or producers would be worried as the horse ran away with one of the stars! LOL
the idea makes me giggle... obviously Robert was and is an excellent horseman, and always came back unscathed... but horses can have real temperament at times... so its an amusing scene to think about.

If I remember right rielle it was Superstar that would ride off and was headstrong, Cangey wrote that in his book and that's the only book I've read so far.
Another favorite scene was with both the guys at the end of Running Death they were playing poker. Great scene!

Superstar was so headstrong and risky for certain scenes, they had a double for him. People who really know horses can spot the difference. I forget what that difference is. I think it's in Kris's essay on the other board.

The zip line scenes are always awesome. That's definitely a favorite repeated plot element for me.
Frank Harper is cool. I like William Schallert and it was fun seeing him do a turn as Jim's partner. I like the scene where he's hypnotized and thinks he's someone else and Jim snaps him out of it by asking about Frank and he says he's supposed to kill him as well as Jim. So Jim has him look in the mirror and he shoots it! Awesome. And then later when Jim is hypnotized and Frank realizes it and switches places with the guy who's supposed to be out there.
My other favorite scenes ... hmmm. There's so many to mention. In The Sudden Plague, which is one of my favorite episodes if not my most favorite, I am always getting the giggles out of Jim falling through the ceiling. And the scene where Coley and Dr. Kirby are discussing the germs and Kirby wants to kill everyone and Coley is horrified and appalled.
The reunion scene in Pistoleros that was mentioned is amazing. And I also love the funeral scene. So heartbreaking and filled with emotion. Jim and Arte approach the other being dead in different ways, but clearly each is very deeply affected by the death of the other.
Along those lines, I adore the scene in Big Blast where Arte staunchly insists that Jim would never be a traitor.

Favorite scenes:
Any scene where James is shirtless, mmmmmm where is my drool bib.
I think this is from Night of the Colonel's Ghost where James says that everytime he hears piano music somebody dies and Artie says he was at piano player once and the people almost killed him. Sorry if I have the wrong episode or line of dialog.
Quite of few of the scenes of Artie in disguise, there are too many to name a specific one in my opinion.
Any of the close ups of James looooooong sigh, those eyes, those lips, that face drooooooool!
I'll probably think of somemore later, but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment
