Oh, and that makes me think of the spit scene in Man-Eating House! Jim and Artie have climbed the cobwebby stairs and...
Jim: Did you get any on you?
Artie: *spits*

Nice, Elsordo!! I like all your artwork!! Hey I just realized you never did a new WWW painting yet this year. Are you just delaying a new one till you get things straitened out back home? thanks I have not had time to do any stuff... I want to do. I have one commission going now that I have to get back to and then a couple of others waiting in the wings. I am going to be able to speed up a lot of art now though. I got the studio all set up again and I love it. I want to paint a complete end frame with all the show screen captures for an episode. which one should I do? a color one for now and maybe a colorized 1st season later ..I think a pen and ink with a water color wash would look great on a 1st season piece... might be cool to do one. I know it's a waste of time to do one and try to sell it. so, I guess, I will do one of my favorites since I will be keeping it. lol I might do the reg painting in water color this year on a nice artist board. I really think that would be POPIN'

Thank you Western. Like I said before most people like the same ones I like so I'll include others fav scenes in my video mix for each episode. I like how it is handy to just click on a link and watch the fav scene. Sorta like a collection. So hopefully I won't miss any ones suggestions either. Glad you liked them. ;D Elsordo, I really really like your work, all your drawings and paintings!! Very nice and very cool blog!! ;D thanks I like these nice big screen caps, Ace.

I was thinking of more good scenes in Murderous Spring. When Loveless is expounding to Kitty about how uncivilized people are, and then proceeds to throw a tantrum because no more candy is left. A while later he is talking to her again as he appears to be carefully putting a fingerprint on every piece of candy in a new box!

Fudge! Also, I had to go look for the scene where Loveless is fingering the candies. It's right at the end of Act 1, while Loveless talks about making a man murder what he loves.

I agree with a lot of the favorite scenes here, but there is one that I didn't see mentioned.
I was watching TNOT Fugitives last week, and the scene in the saloon with Diamond Dave is a favorite of mine. He's sitting at the table and watches Jim let the chandelier loose on his henchmen. Then Jim escapes by defeating all the henchmen in a typical fight. Diamond Dave is just sitting there holding his head in his hands. I love the "You just can't get good help these days" look on his face...

A favorite scene of mine is in Bottomless Pit. Artie's employment interview, proving fittness for employment, and accepting of the applicant for employment.

Great pic from Actuary, CG! talk about g-gorgeous! I love that whole scene - and Robert looks sooo gorgeous throughout. I don't love the ep but oh, wow... my favorite moment is when Jim looks up and grins at the lady - of course he likes it better 'that way'. LOL

Got the new one penciled... on a 16 by 20 illustration board. it's going to be mixed media/ watercolors this time, which I have not done a Wild Wild West painting in water color before ...should pop pop pop have a little more detail.

It has to be Actuary, simply because there is such a look of delight on his face as he opens his eyes and stares up in Artie's that it just took my breath away the first time I saw it. I know that they were acting, but it's so good that every time I watch it I'm moved (yes I know I'm a twit) because everything in that scene says everything about their partnership. But then there's Pistoleros, firstly where Jim thinks Artie is dead and a great writer put these words into Colonel Roper's mouth ', I’ve never seen a man who’d just swallowed acid, but I can’t imagine I would see more pain in a man’s face and eyes than I saw in that moment.' and that sums up their relationship in an instant. And at the end when he sees him and the look of joy, coupled with shock is both wonderful and heartbreaking. So, I would say that I like both of them equally - although Actuary is still my favourite just for that look. Tyche

Haha! I love that scene. Being a Simon Oakland fan, I took many pictures of it when I had the disc out from NetFlix. In that case, you may want to check out an Ellery Queen episode entitled "Adventure of the Pharaoh's Curse". You'll see another familiar face in it as well. ;D I bought the entire season for that one ep - and now I wish there had been a second season. Excellent series!

I agree. I loved Ellery Queen when it was on, and wished there was more to it.
The fact that it had John Hillerman in it was just an added bonus.
Btw, not only does The Adventure of the Pharoah's Curse have a number of familiar faces from WWW in it (not to mention, from Lost in Space), but there's one face who became familiar later, from Night Court and 10th Kingdom. Have a look at the bellhop who lets Brimmer (John Hillerman's character) into the hotel room. My word, but he looked so young!
2nd btw: this episode has a definite added bonus for me, because there's a nice long scene between John Hillerman and Ross Martin -- two of my absolute favorite actors! ;D

Yep, I'm familiar with that Ellery Queen episode! Here, have a couple of screengrabs. You are awesomely dedicated, Diva, with much spare money on hand, to be able to buy all those season (and series) sets for guest-spots of Ross! I buy movies sometimes with favorites, but I'm hardly ever able to get season sets. I have been doing it off and on lately, however, mainly for H.M. Wynant. (And occasionally for more than one person. I love when I hit a goldmine of a season with several favorites in it!)

Yep, I'm familiar with that Ellery Queen episode! Here, have a couple of screengrabs. Thanks for the caps. I have a set of my own, but each click brings a slightly different expression. One thing (among many) that I love about Ross - his infinite, inexhaustible variety of expressions. Dedicated, yes; spare money, that's a BIG no. Outsourced (after 19 years at a firm) and unemployed for far too long. But since I've all but given up my first love (theatre), the occasional DVD set isn't anywhere near what I used to spend on Broadway (even with discounts). Miss it BADLY!!

nice pics ladybug. If you are a RM fan as i'm sure diva can tell you go onto andamoinmrlucky site and there are a lot of tv episodes of RM posted radio show you can get for free etc. I'm sure diva can fill you in more too. there is a thread there RM random appearances--something like that--and newspaper clippings galore....and even some post his singing. and if you are interested you could watch him in mr lucky 34 episodes --you can see for free on youtube. taht should keep you busy for awhile!!!! Awesome. I wish it was that easy to find newspaper clippings for some of the other people I try to look up! I have a link to a lot of his radio appearances, which I hope to get around to listening to. And I saw one Mr. Lucky on YouTube because Wesley Lau was guesting, but I think I'll mainly stick to watching those on MeTV each week. It's fun to look forward to it each Monday and record it. Diva: Ahh, I see. That's understandable. Yes, DVD sets are definitely cheaper than Broadway.

Sounds fun! I have the One Step Beyond episode; it ended up on our set of 50 assorted episodes (released before MGM decided to finally release the seasons officially). It's a very chilling episode, not a favorite of mine, but Ross's performance is incredible. One of my favorite One Step Beyond episodes is The Vision. It's recently become more of a favorite than ever. I'm not sure what Baretta is, but I love Ironside and Hawaii 5-O.

Baretta starred Robert Blake. It was a quirky police show, featuring a lovely cockatoo named Fred.

Oh I must have the wrong thread I thought this was favorite wild wild west scenes and now the topic is about Ross Martin on another tv show! Is this a Wild Wild West thread or a Wild Wild Ross thread? guess I'll have to start a new thread if that's the case.
