I have thought of that, Diva, and in fact I'm thinking about how to correct it in a story I'm working on now. Where DO all those clothes and beards and fake noses come from when he's not at the Wanderer? He could carry a certain--but rather small--amount in his saddlebags but...

Maybe Artie has pockets like the Doctor's, bigger on the inside.

Hey, in that shop in Circus of Death, how does Artie fake out the bad guys with that mannikin and get to the other side of the store??

Not to mention the rope trick in Golden Cobra (a personal favorite).
I almost wish they didn't have Artie do these unexplainable things. It verges on a cartoon. OTOH, the villains do plenty of unexplainable things, probably including all of Loveless's plots!
But I have to admit, I love the bucket launches. Sure they defy the laws of physics, but so what?

Getting back to Underground Terror: they explained how Mosely could drink the drugged wine without it affecting him (he'd deliberately built up immunity), and they explained how Artie knew about the secret passage (he'd had a look at the blueprints). They even explained how Artie was able to disguise himself as Mosely (they'd been given a recent pic of him). But what they didn't explain was this: how on earth did Artie know the exact outfit to wear to imitate Mosely? Exact same outfit!

You know what, I'm watching Circus of Death tonight, and that's exactly what Artie does. He and Jim are at the Mint and Artie casually closes himself up in the Janitor's Supply room (conveniently marked with a very large sign over the door). The next we see of him, he's in full disguise as a janitor, complete with blond wig and mustache, glasses, even the key to the director's office and a long wire to pick a lock with hidden in his broom. How'd he do that?

Well, obviously one or both of them have ESP. They know exactly what's going to happen to them, who they'll meet, what clothes and gadgets they'll need... Only explanation, right?
