Although the episode pretty much follows the script, this is kind of a "sloppy" script. Numerous bits of scenes were not deleted, apparently, from previous versions, and thus they don't make sense.
For instance, after Jim goes off to find the bandits who have stolen the elephant, leaving Artie on the train with the Sultan, Artie finds a ring that the Sultan dropped--and is amazed at what he sees. I'm pretty sure that scene doesn't appear in the episode. They don't discover the jewels are paste until the end, as I recall.
Also, when Jim encounters Zoe, according to this script, he was apparently tied up--but it's only vaguely referred to. He says "You put the gun down, cut me down and I’ll go away very, very quietly." Then later, "(rubbing his wrists)." He does his acrobatics on a tree in the script, but that's a usual shift between script and episode. In the episode he is on bars; perhaps they couldn't find a suitable tree. In that scene, as well, the writer mentions leaving it up to Bob to select the routine.
There seems to be several tags--all of which were filmed in one form or another.
