On the whole, the episode followed the script, with minor adjustments here and there. The biggest scene change, I believe, is the final fight between Jim and Janus. No cannon. Slight changes when Janus visited the train.
Also, the scene where Jim fools Loveless is a bit different--and more confusing, I think.
But the biggest question is: WHERE DID ARTEMUS GET THE EGG? ;D

This script is a nice surprise. Thanks Cal Gal!
I found the Teaser was quite different visually. Like the question about the egg, I keep wondering if Jim ever once wore a pair of lace-up shoes during the entire series. My first inclination is to say “never”.
I found the Jim/Loveless scene confusing too. And I still prefer the ending fight scene the way they did it.
The one thing in the script I definitely would have kept in was the end of Act I where the camera holds on the sign to the Embalming Room. That would have been a chiller of a moment, not to mention the cliffhanger effect.
Oh and I’m glad they didn’t have Loveless hum the Battle Hymn of the Republic while doing surgery. That would have been tacky!

Something else, the teaser with the guy stalking Jim was clarified slightly. But not entirely.
And we learn that apparently the boys spent some time in Alaska!
