I bought 3 scripts off ebay (as mentioned elsewhere) and this is the first one I had time to type up. I'd say the episode follows the script pretty closely, after apparently numerous revisions. However, there are two teasers, the one used, and one where West is trapped and about to be crushed by the elevator--which I think would have been dang exciting. And the tag is completely different. I can't say it's better than what was actually filmed. Maybe only more confusing!

I think the tag they actually did was better, even though not great. It always makes me raise an eyebrow when the "bad guy" women end up on the train socializing with the boys. My curiosity about this script was whether or not they had actually written the scene with the axe splitting the bullet or if they made it up as they filmed. I see that it was written in. I just love that scene!!! This episode is also a great example of a kind of dry script being made wonderfully entertaining by the superb acting abilities of the stars. Thanks for sharing this one Cal Gal!

I agree it is a shame that they didn't use the one teaser. It does sound exciting and having the request to investigate made by a rancher (rather than senator or whatever he was), to me makes more sense. I never really did understand the teaser they used. The unfilmed tag just leaves me completely puzzled. Huh is the only thing that comes to mind. I always kinda liked Sergeant Musk becoming a "woman" again.
Thanks for sharing the script with us Cal Gal.
