No scripts this time, and thank goodness no soul-searching in this one, but VERY Artie-filled!!!! I almost forgot what reading engaging fanfic at 1am can do for my dreams!! You should try it people don't remember much in the way of what happened, just that there was lots of Artie (and it's amazing I didn't drool all over my pillow ) come on people, I'm the only one blessed with dreams of my favorite agents??

I've tried that...it hasn't worked. The only time I've dreamt of Ross is when I first got the dvd's. He hugged me and said, "We've missed you!" or something to that effect. And the other time I was dancing with him...could even smell his cologne! ;D ;D ;D that was really cool

My problem is I don't usually remember my dreams. I have had WWW dreams involving Jim most of the time, strangely enough but Artie has been there too of course. It's not WWW without Artie. However, except for little snippets generally it's lost in my subconscious or some such place. The other night I had a very vivid dream involving 5 of the Lost World characters but again couldn't remember exactly what was going on. Immersing myself in something does not usually bring on dreams for me. I'm more likely to dream about something that caught my attention for a moment a few weeks previous!

when I was a child I "taught" myself to remember my dreams because I had really interesting ones. I would wake up and for a moment just sit in bed and remember the dream. Eventually it got to the point where I would rarely forget and that caused a HUGE problem even to this day when I am consumed with anxiety dreams and nightmares instead of lovely Jim & Artie filled dreams (as Aunt Maud and I were discussing the other night, one is not whole without the other! )

I've tried that, reviewing my dreams in my head as soon as I wake up. You must have a stronger mind than I have. ;D I've also tried writing them down when I wake up--but then later can't read my handwriting because I'm not awake enough yet! Many years ago I helped a professor with a project. He wasn't a psychologist (a biologist actually) but he was interested in dreams. He kept a tape recorder by the bed and as soon as he and his wife woke up they would tell each other, and the tape recorder, about what they dreamed. I transcribed those comments. But I don't know what he did with them. So maybe I should get a recorder...

Most dreams I can actually remember tend to be very Jungian in nature. Last night I had a dream type I have from time to time, about moving into a house and exploring the rooms. The houses are usually different, but with some definite repeating themes, especially a lovely large bedroom or master suite that I don't originally realize is there. Usually at some point someone else is hunting through the house and I'm avoiding them. Also I tend to find hidden rooms or hidey-holes of some sort.

When I am stressed, I often have a dream about it being Christmas and I'm not ready. Either I'm rushing around trying to get fixings for dinner or perhaps shopping for gifts. The most frequent dream I have is trying to find a bathroom. When I do, they are filthy or it's like a commode sitting out in a middle of a crowded room. And then, guess what? I wake up with the need to visit the powder room! I do remember something of my dream last night. No WWW alas. I was in NYC, I parked my car and got out, realized I left my purse in the car--and I had locked it. Everything of course was in that purse. So I had to go into a store, which happened to be a toy store, and asked if I could use the phone to call 3A. Man behind the desk was very nice and said sure. So I got onto the phone and got this really creepy guy who wouldn't exactly say he was going to come get my car unlocked. I can't remember what he was saying, but I know he wasn't nice. And I started realizing I was not only going to have to deal with him, I didn't know the address of where my car was parked. THEN I remembered I also hadn't put any money in the parking meter. No clue what all that meant. I don't think I want to analyzed!

One dream I have had a lot over the years is what I call the phone dream. In it, I'm trying to call someone but I keep messing up the number. Either I can't remember the number, I misdial it, or the numbers on the phone keep rearranging themselves so that the number I think I'm hitting is a different number by the time my finger touches it. There are variations too -- sometimes it's an elevator and the numbers keep changing so I can't press the one I want for my floor.
As for deja vu dreams -- this is the most striking I ever had. I was just beginning to suspect I might be pregnant when I dreamed one night that I was hugely pregnant and walking around in a tiny room, in labor. Then a midwife we had once used was there, and she caught the baby as I gave birth while standing up. The baby was a girl, and I called her by my mother-in-law's name.
Eight months later, I gave birth to my youngest child -- born with the aid of a different midwife, in my tiny bathroom, while I was standing up hanging on to the sink. Little girl, and we named her for my mother-in-law who had passed away during the pregnancy. It was only a month or so later that I remembered the dream, and then I was flabbergasted.
And of course it was a dream about WWW back in early July this year that led me to get interested in finding a fan group. Really enjoying being here!

Strangest dreaming I've done occurred when I was 23 years old and in September I started having occasional non-frightening dreams that involved death in some way. I eventually mentioned it to my mom who realized that she was 23 and pregnant with me when her mother died in September. After she told me that, the dreams stopped.

It involved Artie, Jim, Jeremy, moving, a van and Wendy's I'll have to tell you about it someday maybe lol

Ugh, you've got that one right, I'm tired of that dream. I wonder what it means You know, I kind of interpret it as an expression of how we feel a lot of people treat us. Then again, my attitude is likely to be pretty sour for a while. I just found out my sister-in-law has convinced my parents to move up to Ohio to live near her and my brother. With my dad it doesn't matter to me, but I'm having a lot of abandonment and grief issues right now over my mom going so far away to live. I could really use some comforting dreams right about now.

Franklin, Ohio, which is between Cinncinatti and Dayton. I ain't moving to Ohio on a bet! I'm not interested in leaving TSTA, either. When I retire, on the other hand, Seattle sounds wonderful. A co-worker and I keep threatening to open a boarding house for crotchety old ladies called Misanthropic Manor. Of course, that's still a few years down the road.
The folks are in their 70's and dad's got a lot of health issues. Julie took care of her parents and her ex's parents (after the divorce) to the end of their lives. And Andy and Julie are both engineers making good money. Julie owns an accoustical engineering business based in Seattle. They moved to Ohio this spring after they got married because the Air Force was transferring Andy (civilian employee). Now the house behind the historic house they bought and are fixing up has come up (I don't know if for lease or for sale). The last occupants were awful and so the neighbors will love my quiet folks, and they'd also have an M.D. living next door. I already told my mom that when the old man goes, I want her to move back and live with me. (I know, I'm terrible. I had to cut him out of my life for my sanity's sake.)

I typically have a not so beautiful dream that reoccurs... I am usually being chased either down my road or around my dad's house by some unknown person with a gun and I am always trying to run and hide and the dream usually turns into a bad Chinese movie then with me flying (more like swimming actually) through the air trying to get away
then there's the other reoccurring dream that I am in my grandmother's house after she had passed away and the people who bought it are living in it but I still am able to get in and I know I shouldn't be there and I'm always worried that I'm going to be caught being in their house
If you want to talk reeeeeeally weird... Ever since I got to London I've had the reoccurring dream that the little bridge down the street from my dad's house with the little creek running under it suddenly is being either worked on or is completely under water and you cannot get through to the other side of the bridge (which is weird cause that side is away from town) and GUESS WHAT thanks to Hurricane Irene, that bridge really IS under water now! weird...
