I don't recall that this was ever posted, and even if it was, some folks probably weren't around to see it. I just came across it today. It's a site that apparently has archived some of these types of films, and it's the promo they filmed with Robert Conrad about the 10 episode Dr. Loveless Marathon they were about to show. www.archive.org/details/RobertConrad-TheWildWildWestMini-documentaryI couldn't get the main picture to load, but over to the left side you'll see links for "Ogg video" and "MPEG4." The Ogg worked for me. Hope it works for you.

That is a cool video. I only had time to watch one of them, I'll go back and watch the other sometime. I never watched the marathon, so seeing this interview/reminiscence is very exciting (Conrad is pretty darn gorgeous as well ;D).
The mp4 worked fine for me.

I never saw the marathon either. For some reason, I was unaware TNT was airing WWW. I'm not sure if it was because my cable system at the time wasn't carrying TNT or I just didn't pay attention to that channel. But it is neat to see the promos and hear RC's comments.
He has some nice things to say about Ross too.

I have the interview and the whole marathon on VHS still, along with about 1000 episodes of WWW recorded off TNT during the nearly 8 years they aired the show. I still watch those ones from time to time, along with the ones I recorded on KHJ channel 9 here in the 80's, KDOC in the 90's and again KDOC about 2 years ago recorded on DVD's.
Also got the first 8 episodes recorded from the Hallmark channel--that's as far as they went with showing WWW, which is a good thing because they edited it so bad, they destroyed the show--they even cut off the bumpers on alot of the episodes!!! People probably complained so they dropped it.

That web site that has the clip is quite fascinating. They have several thousand old TV shows that one can download. I found one that Ross Martin appeared in, the episode "Echo" in Alcoa Presents One Step Beyond, which I've seen before. Still have a lot to scroll through though.
The site is not real easy to navigate but if you keep at it, you can find great stuff.

You are a treasure for finding stuff like this - not to mention all those glorious screen caps.
The MP4 worked for me and I found the mini documentary both enjoyable and fascinating. Though as an intro for a Michael Dunn marathon, there could have been more said about Michael!
Thanks!

I, too, recorded this entire weeked, and sent the episodes to my parents, who had never seen the show. They LOVED it.
“I loved Ross Martin. I loved him. He was a gentle man, intelligent, took the edge off me. I could never get him to watch a Bears game, but he could never get me to the opera, either. Ross and I...it was salt and pepper. It was perfect.” --Robert Conrad
