My WWW Birthday Present

As I teased earlier, I did get a WWW collectable for my birthday last week--albeit two days later, on Wednesday as a matter of fact.
My Nana passed away on November 12, and we have been busy going through all of her items, which includes many collectables.
We had several pull-out photos of movie and TV stars that we are sorting, and some of the photos come from local TV guides.

My mother specially put together in a cellophane protective cover two pictures that graced the covers of the TV guides of two now-defunct Chicago newspapers, including the Chicago Sunday American for the week of July 25-30, 1966, when "Our Favorite Programme" was in the middle of first season reruns. It is one of my all-time favorite pictures of Jim and Artie, and I am so excited that I have an original period WWW collectable for my collection.

Yes, it is very, very cool, and one of the two TV Guides was named "TV Roundup"!!

One of my favorites. Not sepia toned as the one on ebay, but very nice. I use it on some of my return address labels!

Good job CalGal! My copies have just enough period print to make them look aged enough.

Yeah really!!! There's alot of dudes on here too but obviously not included in the conversation!!! OK--Whatever--- I'll stop reading all these Zimmerman posts same as all the other guys. ;D

Don't do that! The only reason I mention gals in my posts is that every time I come on here, it seems as if it is all females that are on here, and sometimes it seems like I am the only guy.'

I was just kidding about not reading your posts anymore--- Yeah there are a number of guys on this board--just check out the member list. And my name is a German guy name--you may not be that familiar with it. In Germany, Austria, Switzerland my name is as common as the name John.

As far as you saying you didn't know I was male--I just realized I never did the "gender" part on profile. I never paid attention to that!. I can go add that--Just never noticed!! Haha

Besides, I thoroughly enjoy ElSordo's artwork and AWESOME redisign of this forum. He draws our characters in a way that is totally unique to him. he is a very talented artist and all-around nice guy, from reading his stuff here and on his blog. Just wish he would post here more often.

Ahhh-- I just saw I DID have it on Male gender, but underneath the 'hide" thing was turned ON-- I never noticed that, but just changed it.

Elsordo is probably too busy drawing and painting right now. Haha-- He sent me an awesome WWW drawing from "Watery Death" a few months ago!! Such a great artist!!!
