If there's already a thread about this, let me know and I'll delete this one.
Has anyone read the comic book mini-series published by Millennium around 1990? Is it any good? How's the artwork? Is everybody in-character?

The artwork is excellent. I haven't read mine for several years now but I remember I was unimpressed with the story line, but can't recall just why.

Yes, the artwork on the covers are excellent. Still looking for them, though.

I got them all too but haven't read them yet. Artwork is pretty great but I like the first 7 that were done in the 60's better. All are available on ebay but those 60's ones for a pretty huge price usually!!

Goodness, what in the world is the plot? There's some nice new copies of the 1990s comics on eBay and I've been contemplating buying them, but I don't want to if they're just duds. I like to save my spare money for things that are downright awesome.

Ladybug, the plot concerns the return of John Wilkes Booth and involves Loveless, but I really can't remember the details--other than I was not overly impressed. I should read them again, I guess. But here are scans of the cover of one volume and a page from another so you can get an idea of what they look like.

And now I'm wondering if that page was the inspiration for the upside-down kiss in Spiderman. ;D

Well didn't that happen in TNOT Burning Diamond? So the cartoonist got it from there!

I don't know. It's been a while since I've seen that one. I remember Jim being upside-down, but I don't remember the girl kissing him while he was upside-down.

I don't believe the gal kissed Jim while he was hanging upside down in burning diamond. She kissed him earlier to distract him from the fact the safe was empty, and then later when he and Artie were tied to chairs.
I know I've seen a scene like that somewhere, but can't think where!

Thanks for the page examples! I've seen the covers, but not the interior art. It looks nice!
