Hi everyone, I realise that this may not be the best place to put this question, but I wasn't sure where else I could put it. I'm working on a Wild Wild West fanfic and I'm about half/three quarters of the way through and I'm stuck. I don't know where else to go and I could really do with having someone Beta Read it for me and then offer me some suggestions I have gone through this in my head almost a hundred times and it feels like the wheel is turning but the hamster died a long time ago. If anyone could take a look at this, I'd be most grateful - and really happy as I'm completely stuck! ;D Thanks again, Tyche

I'd be willing to look at it if you'd like me to.
At any rate, I do have a suggestion: set the story aside for a while, say a month or so, then read through it again and see if that will help you get a fresh perspective on where to go with it.
Hope that helps.

I agree with Niecie. I get stuck in the middle of stories I thought I was all clear in my head about beginning to end. So i quit and maybe work on another one. Then a month or more later I re-read the first story and quite often the solution comes. In my case for a most recent one I realized I could combine 2 different stories. It required a fair amount of retyping, of course, but is coming along well--when I have the time to work on it!

Thanks for that, guys (and gals) I think I will put it to one side, especially as other ideas keep surfacing - I tell you, my mind is like a gumbo sometimes, with things that keep bubbling away and occasionally surfacing. ;D However, I do have one Wild Wild West story that I need Beta Reading, so if anyone doesn't mind doing that if they PM me and give me the e-mail address to send it to. Appreciate all your help in advance - and maybe when I've finished this entire story arc (Lord knows how many stories) my mind will settle. Thanks again, Tyche
