I don't suppose anyone here watches Cannon? (Well, I know Zimmerman does, but I don't think he's gotten to the episode that's currently driving me nuts.) If anyone does, and has seen the season 2 episode Child of Fear, I have a question involving it.
Child of Fear is an episode with Julie Adams as a rancher, whose husband has mysteriously vanished and is actually being held hostage by their crooked security guards. There's a character in the cast who ends up getting killed halfway through. And there's a character listed as Lt. Paul Milo and for the life of me, I can't remember if he's the one who gets it. Anyone know?
I could order the disc again from NetFlix, of course, and I probably will if this goes on much longer, but I wouldn't be as likely to want to if that poor man is the murder victim. I probably wouldn't even be able to save him with a "fix fic", either, because I think the victim is caught in an explosion after his death.

I rented Cannon and I remember the episode, but not the details. I've been thinking of renting the series again. I wish they'd get the remaining seasons! It ran for 5 years!

Season 3 is now for sale at Amazon, but I doubt NetFlix will get it, because the discs are DVR on-demand. Bah.

Seems like a lot of series (and movies) are being offered that way now. Dang. Netflix will never get them, that's for certain.

I like Cannon enough that I'm going to be getting the season 3 set soon, now that I've heard the discs seem to play alright for most people. (And it doesn't hurt that three of my cuties guest-star that season!) But today or tomorrow I'm getting season 3 of The Six Million Dollar Man. So much Richard, yay!

I remember watching it and liking it. William Conrad was pretty good with a snarky line, if I remember right. Didn't capture my imagination like WWW though.
I later learned that Wm Conrad did voice work on a LOT of things I liked -- especially Rocky & Bullwinkle!

Conrad was the first Marshal Dillon. On the radio drama I heard him narrating the tv show the other day...interesting.

Aww, I love Cannon (and William Conrad). The show is so exciting and suspenseful; it always pulls me in from the first couple of minutes, just like Kojak always does. And Cannon's a gourmet, so I bet he and Arte would have a lot of fun discussing food if they ever met. Hmm, maybe I'll have to do that in my current fic. I always meant to have Cannon appear in at least one scene of the previous fic, but there was never an opening. William Conrad also narrated The Fugitive TV series. And I finally learned the answer to my original query, courtesy of a Cannon Yahoo Group Niecie found. Lt. Milo does not die. But he is one of the good guys, an old friend of Cannon's. So I got the disc out again to see. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usI am happy. Yes.
