Relatively few episodes have no female involved, for good or ill. Who are your favorites and least favorites? I think most of my least favorites appear in season 1. Carma in Flaming Ghost pretty much leads the list. She just annoys me, first of all staring around open mouthed. Presumably she's taking in what she wants to draw but it just... annoys me. Then the mere fact that the boys decide to let her off the hook at the end is downright nuts. (But don't worry, I have a fan fic in mind to take care of her! ) Others I dislike are Jennifer in Thousand Eyes and Greta in Wizard Shook the Earth. In the other seasons my dislikes mostly center on the southern-bimbos that populate the varnish car in the tags. Those gals look too young and too dumb for our guys. They appeared mostly in season 2, I think. By season 3 their dates seemed more mature. As for the ones I liked, Gatita in Deadly Bed was one. Jennifer McCoy in Bars of Hell is another. Also Josephine in Cadre. She's a definite favorite. Oh, and Cloris of Amnesiac. All spunky ladies. The really bad ones that I like are Lady Beatrice of Two-Legged Buffalo, Dr. Faustina and Emma Valentine.

I always had a fondness for Antoinette - maybe because we both like Miguelito!
And I thought Phoebe Dorin's performances were delightful.

I like Antoinette as well. And Lily, of course. Oh, and Mme LeFarge!
I know there are those I dislike as well, mostly those who seem to have zero brains. Just not thinking of any names right now (other than those Cal Gal already mentioned).
Oh, hey, thought of another I liked: I've forgotten which Artie-less episode it was -- Bleak Island, perhaps? Where someone brings Jim a framed photo of Artie (in the Inferno suit). Jim's date seemed a smart lady in that tag -- and he introduces her as Nancy Conrad!

Oh, yes, I like Antoinette. Even if she is slightly nuts and wants to help Miguelito slay our boys. I think she wears the most beautiful gowns of all the ladies that appear in the series.

Not to mention those wonderful duets with Michael Dunn. How I wish they had recorded an album (I remember (and miss) vinyl) back in the day!

For likes, I would have to say Colonel Lupita (never remember her last name) from Assassins. Talk about spunk, and skill and a go getter. She embodies a successful woman competing in a man's world and doing it with style! I'll add Haruko Ishuda from Deadly Blossom for the same reason.
For dislikes I've got to go with Belladonna from Bogus Bandits. Why would Miguelito have such a twit as his right hand dame? Oh, I should include Lana Benson on my useless twit list.

Yes, I agree about the lady colonel. She took no prisoners it seems... except first Jim and then Artie. ;D
At the top of my twit list are the two characters portrayed by Lana Wood. She has "annoying spoiled brat" down pat.
And of course sweet Aimee from TNOT Arrow. Yikes! Still wonder why she has such a strong southern accent when her daddy-dear was obviously a Yankee.

I think all women were supposed to have a southern accent in the West. I just watched an episode and the Eastern girl (from Boston no less) sounded like she was from Kentucky (based on the accent of a friend of mine from Kentucky). Maybe all pretty little misses had to be southern belles.

Barbara Bosley (The Night of the Flaming Ghost) is smart enough to get away from John Brown...and she falls for Artie. Oriana (The Night of a Thousand Eyes) tries to persuade Ansel to run away with her, rather than give her the world. Same actress, different roles: I like Rita Leon (The Night of the Freebooters), but not Deirdre/Topaz (The Night of the Running Death). Bessie Bowen (The Night of the Whirring Death) is fun to watch, but I dislike Priscilla Ames. One of the most annoying is Faith Cadwallader (The Night of the Human Trigger).

One female you might not think of when considering the "women of the wild wild west" is Kitten Twitty in Murderous Spring. Jeni Jackson did a wonderful portrayal of the poor conflicted woman who only wanted to be considered "beautiful" and find happiness--and sought it from the wrong source.

I liked her better in Bars of Hell where she is the boistrous waitress in the "prisoner's club". Her character was still called Kitten, which surprised me a bit.

I always wonder if she was supposed to be the same character--now under Dr. Loveless's "spell." He needed someone strong to get him into the hotel unseen. It's pretty obvious that he used her.
It is odd that the same name was used in both episodes, though.

I love 'Dr Pringle', she is zesty, clever beyond belief, courageous and beautiful... I love the dress she wears at the end; I have been dreaming about it since childhood....And according to the tag she has managed to gain the respect and admiration of our heroes! (Despite not holding her liquor too well! Being kissed by Jim, and Baby-sat by Artemus!!! Double-trouble or what! But hey... What else would a girl want?

I just wonder how Dr. Pringle can be satisfied with the boy back home after being with our two heroes!

Well if I'm gonna start off with dislikes, [and Dieter will not like to hear this] both 'Gerda' in "Feathered Fury' and 'Laurette' in Winged Terror1&2 really win that contest for me. All the breathless gasps and waving pistols and ... no, lets stop right there.
a close second [or third, depending on how you're counting these] is "Aimee" -'Colonel Daddy's' narsty little girl .. in "Arrow" 'Belladonna' in Bogus Bandits really was sad and sorry totally lame and a lousy substitute for Antoinette, I liked the black haired villainess in that ep much better, even if she did try to plug Artie.
and then there's the cow eyed 'Princess' in Montezuma's Hordes'... yeeech! nuff said right there
and frankly the greatest disappointment of all to me was 'Trieste' in Loveless Died, because honestly I expected a lot better from Susan Oliver, for peets sake!
main complaint with all these 'ladies' was their cardboard demeanor, mincing, childish behavior, their stupid airs and vapors, their lack of anything resembling real courage, much less spunk, their mile long fake eyelashes... their garishly mismatched color schemes and their yet worse attire, which wasn't really their fault, but ... every time I see Trieste, I want to yank those grade school style fake velvet bows right out of her totally anachronistic up-do!
On to likes: Kathy Kittredge in Legion is just fine, despite her awful hats and schoolmarm clothes. She's supposed to be a good girl so I'll let that uptight wardrobe pass... final tag dress... no problem at all, gorgeous. Kathy is strong and fearless and smart, and wary of even our guys at first... after all she doesn't know Jim at all or Artie, she knows Aaron Addison...
I do also love Gatita, cause she doesn't give up for an instant, even when it seems she has... she's only biding her time.
Jennifer Wingate in Thousand Eyes... well I like her and I don't... some scenes are great, like when she's playing Artie in the tag... like a shopworn fiddle...
The Doctor's daughter in Fire and Brimstone is very well done and well written. She's wary as she certainly should be of people who want to drag her doctor-father off for some strange escapade, and she's realistically worried about Pops the whole time, too. Yet she keeps her cool and doesn't expose Artie as 'Pops'. Good for her!
My favorite barely-seen WWW lady is Princess Gina Carlotta in 'Dancing Death'... she's exquisite AND strong AND smart and her ensemble is spot on for the era as well, including those loops of pearls woven into her hair... Wish we had seen far more of her and far less of the Camora-ladies.

Goodness, no one has mentioned Lily Fortune! She's high on my list.
And Miguelito, I just don't know what's gotten into you. You don't sound like yourself at all.

Did anyone mention sweet Betsy Stark? Talk about your nutcases! She told Daddy that helping to trap and emotionally terrorize a man, to set two men up for killing, was "fun." And she was convincing as far as Jim was concerned, with those big innocent blue eyes.
