Actually, I think somebody's got a thread of this sort going, but I couldn't find it. Here's something I just noticed: Isn't that the same blue crystal chandelier that almost killed Artie in TNOT Man Eating House?

That blue chandelier shows up all over the place. Maybe we should start a list of where we see it. Don't know if it's exactly the same. This one appears to have some dark blue crystals mixed in and I'm not sure the MEH one did. Kind of like the staircase and the red flocked wallpaper. Very popular styles in the 1870s, obviously.

I love looking for the props that show up again and again.

It may also appear in Fugitives. Not necessarily the one that RC crashed from, but the one Jim releases later to knock out one of the bad guys.
I wonder if they had a "frame" and they just hung different colored crystals from it from scene to scene.

Have you ever watched A&E's Nero Wolfe Mysteries? They used an ensemble cast, so you see the same supporting performers in different episodes playing different characters! Like this bald actor who played the head of the New York branch of the FBI in 'The Doorbell Rang' appeared in quite a few episodes wearing various wigs. It was great, the way they did that.

I seem to remember another show that did that. An "anthology" type show where they performed different types of shows each week--mystery, drama, comedy or whatever, but with the same actors. Wish I could remember what it was. It was a LONG time ago I believe.
I'm sure that the prop folks at these studios are quite adept at transforming various pieces of furniture, walls, etc. from show to show, episode to episode.

Yep, I would say that's the same chandelier. And from Fugitives also.

Is that really the same chandelier as in Fugitives? Because I remember that you can see the grip bars that RC was supposed to hang onto when he leaped from the balcony. This one doesn't have them. Maybe they were removable.

Something I just noticed...
Watching The Great Race yet again. In the bar fight scene, when Prof Fate and Max sneak in wearing cowboy disguises, the vest Max wears looks quite a bit like the vest Artie wears as the Laredo Rub-down unibrow guy in Bubbling Death. Not the same vest, of course, but a lot alike.

Oh, and the saloon has that red flocked wallpaper! They had a special on it at Victorians-R-Us.

Maybe they were removable. Oh yeah, the grip bars...hm. Well, maybe they had a DIY Chandelier kit and they bought all blue baubles for it... ;D
