P. S....
Artie's gun is LARGER and more powerful than Jim's. Just sayin... Snort! I think your Artie goggles are larger and more powerful too! ;D ;D Heheheheh, just kiddin with ya. We do adore our favorite Agents don’t we? ;D ------------------- Speaking of guns and back to our favorite scenes, how about Silver’s avatar episode, Red-eyed Madman? Jim takes Artie’s gun and Artie holds that axe in front of his face while Jim splits a bullet on it!!!! Was there ever a more defining moment that illustrated their complete faith in themselves and each other as partners? Wow, I think I hold my breath every time I watch it.

That ep always led me to believe Artie had nerves of steel!

I'm sure you noticed that the lovely ladies gravitated to the "colonel" to compliment him on his bravery and never seemed to consider Jim's fine marksmanship and steady nerves too! I agree that that scene is a perfect example of the trust the two had in each other.

How about Lord of Limbo when Jim is cradling the dying Jack/Artie? Jim has a face of fond memories as well as pain and he carries Artie's body back through the limbo and prior to that he doesn't want to duel his partner

Jim has a face of fond memories as well as pain and he carries Artie's body back through the limbo and prior to that he doesn't want to duel his partner I agree that scene is somehow especially powerful. Including, too, the fact that as he is dying Jack seems to manage to express Artie's fondness for Jim.

Did you ever notice Jim's expression when he sees Jack/Artie shot, and throws the sword at the brigand?

TNOT Arrow when Artie is ragging Jim about the 3 previous couriers who had not returned after taking messages to the Indians. He is SO enjoying himself. ;D

I don't think anyone has mentioned a scene that happens to appear in one of my least favorite episodes, TNOT Returning Dead, when Artie disarms the bad guys on the street and sics them on Jim while he stands by and admires Jim dispatching them.

That's a great scene (but I like the episode in general).

I haven't been following this thread too closely (RL has been busy!), so forgive me if this has already been mentioned:
Jim and Artie in the restaurant at the beginning of Terror Stalked the Town. I love their discussion about Marie Pincher, especially after she rebuffs Artie's advances. "Don't I know you from somewhere..."

Hi Ace! Welcome!
I like the tag to Running Death, though I wish they'd shown us which cards each of them had. Artie had just raised Jim so I wouldn't have thought he'd have displayed his hand yet. But their expressions are priceless.
And they used the same table in Underground Terror, completely bamboozling the poor colonel. ;D

Wasn't it season one in the first episode where Artie met up with Jim in the graveyard? They were creeping around and he playfully said to Jim, "You like this kind of work?" I thought that was a great moment and very telling about the fun they would have together in their partnership. BTW, Welcome to the board Ace!

I watched Bogus Bandits last night. I love the scene in the "communications center" when Artie starts telling Loveless he knows they've lost, and then mentions Aunt Maude. Jim is listening a little puzzled at first, but as soon as the dear old aunt is mentioned, he knows Artie has something in mind, and he's ready. And Artie obviously knows Jim will pick up on that clue.
I like how Jim goes into action, first grabbing the gun from Belladonna before he helps Artie. Artie's efforts would have been in vain if he had not.

I know you people are just stroking my ego because you'll do anything for more fanfiction. (Keep it up, I love it! It's working!)

Thanks for the welcome Paradox Eyes. " (Wasn't it season one in the first episode where Artie met up with Jim in the graveyard? They were creeping around and he playfully said to Jim, "You like this kind of work?")" In reference to what you wrote, right before Artie said that to Jim, Artie was looking for Jim in the graveyard, when Artie turned around Jim startled Artie, what a dirty thing to do to poor Artie. I did enjoy that little interaction. BTW I also enjoyed your WWW stories!! Thanks Aww shucks. Thank you for the compliment Ace! There are lots of really good writers on this board. Enjoy your journey through the continuing “episodes”!
