Does anyone know where did the scar came from on Conrad's chin??
I know it's not allowed on TV anymore . . . . . but Does it bug you seeing all the smoking on the show???
Thanks for the tip to watch the shows in production order instead of airdate order . . . . you can see the progression of the show easier this way. (granted I'm only 10 shows in now) & still waiting for the 1st "Artie" . . . . .
Any other Conrad or Martin shows anyone could recommend or is it ALL about WWW3 for you???
Still looking for a pic to use . . . how do you take screenshots from the episodes???
Thanks ~ Lass

I cannot remember if we've heard where that scar came from. I'm sure someone else knows.
I do notice in some older shows and movies when they are all lighting up (and I'm an ex-smoker). At least it's not as heavy on the Wild Wild West as in some other shows of the era. Mostly the cigarillos--and a few times the smokes were necessary to the plot, such as in Firebrand when Jim needed it to light the dynamite fuses.
I think we all watch other shows in which Conrad or Martin appeared. Baa Baa Black Sheep is a favorite of some. I have rented some DVDs from Netflix, which is where I got screen caps of various shows they appeared in.
And as for screen caps, I do them mainly with a software program I bought. I have a Mac and it's Mac-specific, but there are others out there. One can also take caps directly from the monitor screen, something I've used to capture pictures from some streamed shows.
And if you ever see a particular cap that I've posted that you'd like to have, either for your avatar or just to drool over, please ask. All I'll need is your email, which you can send me via a PM.
I still need to watch the show in production order. It is interesting that in the pilot, Inferno, Jim immediately addresses Artemus as Artie, then in later shows (in their aired order) it's back to the more formal Artemus.

If you have Windows XP or newer on your computer look for a program called Snipit you can take screencaps of pretty much anything. I personally am not fond of it I like to also have some borders on pictures so I do it myself. I use print screen and paint. I have several photo editors but I use Picasa most of the time.

For Ross Martin, another good show to watch is Mr. Lucky, which they made in 1959. It's not <ahem> officially on DVD, but it's available if you know where to look. ;-)
The smoking doesn't bother me. I don't think there's much of it compared to a lot of shows of that vintage. There's a lot more drinking, and if I stopped to think about it, that would bother me!

Do we see a cigarette in Wild Wild West any other time than when Jim "rolls his own" in Red-Eyed Madman?
