Thanks Cal Gal Love it! A very Merry Christmas to all of you from my family and me. I didn't send as many Christmas cards via snail mail this year as in previous years (had to cut back). Next year I will begin saving for the postage much earlier so I can send one to everyone on my list

Paradox, Baby! I'll them wreaths hanging around my neck anytime! They look SO CUTE with them little pink bows tucked under their neck! Two little angels!... Ah those were the days...I remember it so well, when Artemus was little and.... ;D Great Pics, as always, CalGAl! We have had a lovely time of it here, since the 23rd, with the traditional Carol concert at Canterbury cathedral, X-mas Eve with neighbours, wrappings presents, drinking mulled wine and eating stuff I should not! I hope everybody is having/ have had as good a time! To all of you wild, wild friends, Merry Christmas! XXXXX Your Aunt Maud

We had an excellent day, all things considered. My niece visiting from LA picked me up this morning and we went to her sister's home nearby here. We had lost their mom, my sister, last summer, so this was the first holiday without her. She loved Christmas and was always a big part of everything we did. So we determined to make the best of it, in her honor.
We opened gifts first. Everyone liked what I got them, and I loved what they got me! Then a wonderful breakfast, some time for relaxing, and this afternoon we went to a super superb restaurant in the area--one that one a clear day you can see all of Monterey Bay. Unfortunately it was not a clear day--quite stormy as a matter of fact.
The weather did not dampen our spirit. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. I came home happily stuffed. So now for a quiet evening to digest and remember.

We had a really nice holiday as well. There is hardly any snow on the ground compared to the last few years when we were burried in drifts. It all seems to be going around our area so far (yayyyy!) We enjoyed the company of friends for Christmas Day and Santa was good to us Today the sun was out all day and we went to the movies. It's been a wonderful weekend. Hope everyone else had a lovely time too!

A nice holiday in Western PA...a white Christmas, but not too white! Though it has been FREEZING this December. A warm up for the New Year is called for, however.
Santa was very good to the kids, and my littlest, in Kindergarten, was just enthralled with the whole thing this year. So fun to watch him. The girls are getting too big, I think, though they were excited too.

It was a nice tim e at Dad's this year. We even managed to sneak in a picture of dad snoring in his recliner lol. I'm glad my niece went back to mom's and its just me and the furball again. I kinda like quiet ;D

The holidays are always fun, but it's also always nice to get back to "normal."

Someone would have to tell me what "normal' is! I'm not sure I would recognize it if it ran over me with a snow plow. Christmas was nice. I spent 3 days with my mother (who only lives 5 miles from me). She asked if I was coming back for New Year's Eve, but I bowed out. We would both be in bed by 10:30. Besides the one cat sulks when the dogs aren't at home. She won't come out and talk to me when I stop by to feed them and clean the litter box. As soon as the dogs are back in the house she relaxes and will come to be petted. Happy New Year everyone!
