I just happened across this image while surfing the net and looking at WWW images. It had no info with it, just the image. Thought I’d share it. Wikipedia says that Sarsi is a South East Asian sarsaparilla-based soft drink. I suppose they liked the WWW image because of the time period, sarsaparilla or “root beer” being a popular drink in the late 1800’s. Has anyone seen this image before? Know anything more about it?

Looks like the caption should have read: Have A MERRY CHRISTMAS OR ELSE...

Never heard of the product or seen that image before. Smart people. They know a winner when they see one.

Yeah that is so cool to see Jim & Artie remembered for the holidays nearly 45 years after WWW first began. They will never be forgotten--will always be part of our lives and many generations to come I hope!! I think new people discover what an awesome show it was all the time. I know kids my son's age--12--that know the show very well, thanks to it having been on TV here the last 3 years to expose it to a new audience. It's sure alot better than most new shows on the networks and cable channels!

And my guess is, it's probably from overseas, but that's a good thing too! And you're right, a lot of the crud on TV these days can't hold a candle to WWW. It always makes me smile when I see it referred to as a cult classic. It has achieved a kind of immortality that I hope just keeps growing.
