second question:
What WOULD Jim and Artie do for their partner?
Actually the series gives LOTS of examples on this one. But what else could there be?
Actually, I have to renege on one of my points on the first thread. I think each of them would probably steal the Crown Jewels, at least temporarily, to trip up a particularly greedy bad guy.
That being said, WOULD either agent marry without love involved [avoiding the word Loveless] for the sake of their partner?
Would either of the 'guys' do something dastardly... I think that's been covered in a great many fanfics... answer being yes, in the right circumstances.
So, what else d'ya got? I know you've pondered these deep philosophical questions and conundrums yourselves... after all, you are all creative people, writers and artists and ... fannish.

One obvious answer is that they would die for their partner.
Artie said that aloud in Big Blast: he would prove Jim innocent of the treason charge or die trying.
They would also go rogue to avenge their partner's death, as Jim did in Pistoleros, seemingly ready to kill Sanchos in cold blood, believing he had killed Artie.
As to whether they would marry without love... you are stealing a plot bunny! ;D
As said, most of this aspect has been covered in the series, and if not there, in fan fiction. So it's not easy to think of other circumstances.
