Here's a fun site I came across when looking for a specific quote to fit a segment of a story. You can not only find quotes based on specific words, but they are also sorted by authors. Plus it has a "this day in history" feature, a link to proverbs from around the world, a number of historical documents to peruse, and you can even sign up to get a daily quote via email. worldofquotes.com/One thing I might point out. When you click on the link for the quotes, and you select an initial letter for the word you might be looking for, the lists are alphabetized, but they run horizontally rather than vertically. I missed that initially and thought it strange that they didn't have quotes listed for a couple of words. Then I noticed!

Dictionary of Practical Surgery - 1886 After rereading a fanfiction I got curious about the gunshot wounds. I found this book published in 1886 (I think that's the date). ***Don't read it while your eating*** I found the section on gunshot wounds fascinating and informative. It is written in layman's terms so is pretty easy to understand. Just a few terms I needed to look up. It talks quite a lot about the American War (Civil War I assume) and the Crimean War. books.google.com/books?id=rvQPAAAAYAAJOh that's cool I'm definitely going to read it because I'm sure with my last story our great James West should have been dead But I'd never kill him or Artie off Never!!! Thanks for this site:)
