Has anyone watched the show The Iron Horse?
I wanted to watch Here Come The Brides. I turned the tv on 20 minutes before the start and instead of Hazel there was a western that had a cool train. It had a stellar cast and I liked the red version of the Wanderer. But the show SUCKED! And that's really something coming from someone looking forward to Here Come The Brides. ;D
I was wondering if this was just a bad episode (S.1 ep. 3) or a bad show. Anyone?

Yes, I remember The Iron Horse. I'm pretty sure I watched it simply because I liked Dale Robertson. His series Tales of Wells Fargo was much, much better.

I've never even heard of it. But I would love to see Here Come the Brides again! I haven't seen it since I was 6 or 7, and all I really remember is the theme music and that Bobby Sherman was in it.

Here Comes The Brides comes on Antenna TV Sundays @ noon ET/9a PT. The Iron Horse comes on at 11a ET/8a PT. I like a lot of the shows on Antenna TV and am glad it is a local station since I don't have cable. www.antennatv.tv/shows/

Did you know that John Kneubehl penned an episode of this series that guest-starred Ed Asner months before his appearance on WWW in TNOT Amnesiac? Well, now you do!!

I am not sure if you get Antenna TV up there in Hawaii, Ace, but "Here Come The Brides" airs at 6:00 AM Central Time on Saturday mornings, followed by "Iron Horse" at 7:00 AM my time.
And yes, the theme song, "Seattle", was a minor top 40 hit for Perry Como in 1968. Great song. Great singer.

I haven't ever seen the show, but I've heard it called Riverboat on a train, haha. And I do like Riverboat, at least most of the time. I'll look forward to your opinion of this series!

Ladybug, If you receive Antenna Tv like I do, I was able to record many of the episodes of the series on VHS tape before Antenna TV took it off their schedule earlier this month .

I do have Antenna, but I never had any real reason to look into The Iron Horse, so I never did get around to it. Hopefully they'll bring all the Westerns back sometime. I'd wanted to look into Rin Tin Tin, but that one I never seemed to have the chance to record. The only one I specifically sought out was Circus Boy, which I'd wanted to see for years upon years because of Micky. I managed to record most of that series, but I'm still missing a few.

I did record a few episodes of Circus Boy, but I have yet to watch them. That Micky Dolenz energy was with him right into his childhood
