Didn't want Jim's Jems to have the upper hand. LOL
But seriously, what is your favorite Artie ep? Which do you think showcased his talents best or contained his best disguise? Whatever the reason, which is your favorite?

Oh come on It's hard to narrow it down but I have 90+ favorite Artie eps I do like Simian Terror and Juggernaut. And there's Surreal McCoy ahem he wears a nice gun belt in that one ;D It's really hard to narrow it down I like all Artie's talents in the lab and coming up with disguises. I do like his jailbird routine in Arrow that was brilliant. And the doctor in Fire and Brimestone I thought he did a great job on that one. Surreal McCoy is and probably always will be one of my all time favorites though. The look on Artie's face on that balcony is terrific and when he glides down those stairs its poetry in motion. And the gunfight out in the street is great. And I love "Artie's" magical cigarette pack that keeps popping up in an undershirt pocket

I count myself among Jim's Gems, but I gotta tell you my favorite scene from all 4 years is Artie as Bluebeard the trapper in Firebrand. I can watch that scene over and over. I watch it normal speed, I watch is slow speed, I zoom in and it never fails to amaze me. The timing of all the actors is SUPERB! Bluebeard may be bored, but not me.

Its quite evident in Human Trigger in a couple of places. I blew a shot up and discovered that at least in that ep Ross was a Camel man lol. Another ep is Juggernaut.

In Season 1 I like Glowing Corpse when Artie is dressing and getting into his frilly shirt I also think it is funny when twice Jim thinks his partner had been killled or something almost as bad and Artie is just testing his inventions ;D I do remember falling for both just like Jim did when I first saw the episode. For a 1st season there are some good interactions between the two agents Artie :Think of that. Five minutes, underwater, submerged, and you'd still survive. That is, if somebody was trying to drown you. Jim: What if it doesn't work? Artie: Bring it back. I'll make you a new one. Artie: Jim...you ever wonder what might of happened if Amelie had pointed that gun a little higher when she shot you? Jim: (casually) I think the box office would have refunded the money. Artie: Does that include the, uh, lady of the orchid or will you be cultivating that one personally? Jim: Everybody knows that a young orchid has to be kept at a carefully controlled temperature as long as... Artie: You have a suspicious mind, Jim. A very suspicious mind

Terror Stalked the Town is another Season 1 that I like Artie in (not that I don't soak up every second of Artie in every episode! ;D) But I like the frustration he displayes with Janus as Jim, he figures out that that's not Jim, and I love the scene where he's at the electric gate, gets zapped, then the look on his face when he's emptying out the booze!!! then using the glass bottle top as a funnel and just breaks into the gate, *sigh* brilliant!! and that's SOOOO incredibly mean (AND DANGEROUS!!!) of Jim in the tag "HIGHER!" "oh you're Jim West alright" poor baby!!

Ready-Made Corpse... the characters of Rose and her father my friend being of Irish descent find a little insulting in their cliche-ness... but as for the Artie-ness well... let's see, we have the smart-alec greeting in thebeginning (te-hee!) The periwinkle suite is just georgous!!! We also have my favorite outfit of the yellow shirt and the gold vest. Ohhh if only I was Rose, to get to touch to that lovely face! Then there's the Hamlet scene in the graveyard! Hamlet? Try just HAM! ;D Artie's a riot in disguise as usual Nice wanted posted for Mr. Link, what a handsome devil! "Gone to a higher court" pffft! I wonder why they didn't just choke Artie right there on the table when it was 3 against 1... I'm glad they didn't though!!! "Which jail" "Worse than any jail" Artie does pretty good fightig with his hands in mangles just a thought... they do a LOT of facial reconstruction in this series...

I love Ready Made Corpse. Rosie is so over the top in her mock grief. And forgetting the name of her 'dear departed' is just hilarious. This ep is the first thing I ever saw Carroll O'Connor in as a child and I loved him from that moment on.

Oh qohart, I read that wrong...I thought you were saying that Carroll O'Connor was a child in this ep! LOL
I liked this ep too, but it isn't one I go back to often enough, because it sticks in my brain so well that I feel that I don't have to watch it. And when I do, I find that I have forgotten parts of it!

Drunken Hamlet in NOT Casual Killer. The fact that he's acting for Dub Taylor just makes it all the better.

EVERY MOMENT IS MY FAVORITE ARTIE MOMENT!
Seriously, though, if I had to narrow it down probably Lighnin' McCoy and Bluebeard. As Pet said, he really wears that gunbelt well in Surreal McCoy. Watching that episode always make feel a bit faint. Bluebeard blows me away with the comments to the one-eyed rattler, knife-throwing method of pointing and the incredible capacity for holding his liquor. And then he goes from that skunk to a VERY dapper French-Canadian dandy.
If the heat don't cause the forum problems, the earthquake caused by all the Angels going *THUD* will.
Time to go home and write Artie. Perfect thread to get my mind in just the right state for the scene I'm working on in Broken Men.
Just realized this is an old thread revived by our dear niecie. Must have come out during one of my periods of estavation.

I started watching it yesterday evening and fell asleep about 15 minutes into it (not that it is boring, just late night). I like Artie's Lightnin' McCoy, but I would have preferred a smaller mustache.

In one scene he's falling backward and his jacket is open. Take your eyes off well whatever it is you're looking at and take a look at his shirt pocket I had a screen shot of that and I blew it up for another reason when I discovered it.

in one scene... how about watching the episode and being a little more specific which scene!!!! Now, we don't want to be too demanding. We'll all just have to play the episode and watch for Artie to fall back, then hit pause and study every inch carefully looking for hidden cigarettes. Okay, I just gave myself a hot flash.
