A while back we were discussing whether the gun Artie threw at Jim in TNOT Death Masks was used again. I was watching Fire and Brimstone the other day and you can clearly see the initials on Artie's gun as he climbs out of the mine to get the doctor. I am sure I remember seeing them in other episodes as well.
Keep a sharp eye out for it! I wonder how many other episodes it was used in?

You have really sharp eyes, DT! I took a look at some screen caps for that show that I did not publish and found this one, while they were in the barn before going into the tunnels.

It's silly, but it thrilled me to see he had continued to use it. It made it part of the series rather than just a plot device. I have always wondered whether it was his usual gun that they painted his initials on or if it was a new one.

And was it used before Death Masks? I think he had a gun with a dark handle, but I don't know if it had the initials. It's fun to use in fan fiction.

Well, I do like to think that the gun was a gift from Jim but I'm not so sure if that was the reason! LOL! ;D

I think it was Jim who kept losing his revolver, Rielle . I reckon he must have bought them by the dozen. I agree about it being a gift. I would like to think it was a gift from Jim. I don't think Artie would have them engraved himself (I say engraved, but I suspect they were just painted on in real life).
