For anyone who is interested, I came across quite a surprise today while visiting Best Buy to pick up a flash drive. As I was getting ready to check out, I decide to cut through one of the DVD TV Show aisles and was looking at the on sale placards and guess what I saw? Columbo, Season One box set $19.99 ;D (that was me looking at the placard) Yep, season one has "Suitable for Framing" (yayyyyy!) Now, I have my favorite RM performance on DVD! And for any Ross completists you might want to pick it up. I imagine that the sale ends tomorrow night. Being an artist, I have a soft spot for RM's Dale Kingston. lol Just wanted to share the info in case anybody wanted to pick up a copy.

Alright, don't anybody throw things at me! I have never watched Columbo. (not a Peter Falk fan) But I'm curious...did Ross Martin appear a lot in the series?

He appeared just in the one ep. mentioned above. And I believe RC only appeared in one ep. (An Exercise In Fatality). Someone else will have to say what season it was in, I'm thinking 4 but I'm not sure at all. See no painful projectile coming your way.

I'm going to try this again--I typed up a post and submitted it, got a blank page... and the post never appeared! Of course, it was VERY important! I found out that Netflix has both episodes of Colombo available to view "free" (if one is a subscriber). RC's episode is indeed season 4. I'll try to watch both this weekend. I was never a big Colombo fan either. Never watched it first-run, but I think I've seen 2-3 episodes as reruns over the years.

Bought it yesterday (thanks Alika, for the info!) when I had to take my Brownie to the mall to sell GS cookies. I love Peter Falk, and I love Columbo. The writers were very good on that show.
Another show Ross was in, Wonder Woman, is on sale for 16.99. The sale goes until April 4. He appeared in Season 2 of WW. Great ep too!

Glad you were able to get a copy. Isn't that a great episode? ;D Cool! I'll have to get Wonder Woman now. It will be fun to revisit it. I used to love that show as a kid. But, having Ross as a guest star will help! OH! NEWSFLASH! Remember the brief discussion about that Night Gallery episode? Well, I found out it's 3rd season, episode #34 and televised originally 11-19-1972. Exciting, yes? No, not really....BUT THIS IS! THANKS HULU! ;D Watch this episode with Ross if you've never seen it. It blows away Camera Obscura! www.hulu.com/watch/58775/night-gallery-the-other-way-outEnjoy!

I'll have to take a look first chance I get. Even Jim's Jewels appreciate good acting when we see it.

OH MY GOSH! The episode of Night Gallery with Ross and Burl Ives was fine work on Ross's part! (I JUST watched it this morning ). He played the sniveling and scared Bradley Meredith to the hilt, very believable. I have to get this one recorded, well worth staying up unti 12:30 every night until Night Gallery comes on ;D

And I have been going to bed just after I see who is guest starring on Night Gallery...except for last night when Wade put on some good movie and I stayed up watching the next two! Ronald Reagan was funny in movies...he stood up in one and started, "My fellow countryman..." I laughed, because I've heard that line from him...40 years later!
