Though a lot of people here may not recognize the name, Robert Morse could have added a wonderful comic element - provided they had a director who could sit on him! He's really terrific - but needs a firm hand or he'll run away with the show. OMG!!!!!! I LOVE Robert Morse!! HA! HA! ;D He'll run away with the show!!! That's an understatement Nydiva!! HA! HA! Such a FUNNY GUY!!!!! ;D ;D Wish I could be like him!! ;D

Ken Swofford as Frank Flannigan he was a character I really liked him!
He was great in that role too. The episode wherin he tried to be a talk-show host, but Queen (Jim Hutton) used it to unmask a killer was one of my favorites of that particular series. Mr. Swofford was very funny in that episode as well ;D.

YAY DIVA!! I was just about to present that option to all of the other people on this board, but you brought up for me. I was referring to the fact that you brought up the addtional cast members question, not you wonderfuk fan Fiction writing .

Ken Swofford was very good as Flannigan in Ellery Queen.
He was also the guy who wound up under the piano in TNOT Running Death.

That was a great role from him as well.
Mr. Swofford also appeared in the episodes of "Murder, She Wrote" wherein Keith Michell played former reformed jewel thief Dennis Stanton.

I know I watched Murder She Wrote, but I don't remember much from it anymore. I think that was about the time I started losing interest in tv, because it seemed like all the plots were rehashings of shows I'd seen before.

Couple more actors I thought of in recent days: Abe Vigoda, and Peter O'Toole. ;D
