Haha--Niecie--are you apparently embarrassed from all the shenanigans that went on over here?? Now you're trying to make up for all that?? Sounds like it!! Thanks for the update on where the show is at for now--plus good to hear there IS a Jim & Artie train out there for them to ride around in! The train is a cast member on WWW too just like our heroes!! Only other thing---Do they ride their horses in this ep too?? (I keep thinking of more good stuff.)

Strasburg, Pa has BEAUTIFUL trains and a train museum. My dad has a picture of him holding me when I was a baby at Strasburgh and we passed through every time we went to Lancaster to visit my grandparents (and Thomas the Tank Engine was almost ALWAYS in town causing mass traffic jams!!!! stupid Thomas ) You're going to make up wait that long??? You tease! I'm gonna have to get MY boss on you fellas! ;D (just got done with a phone conference and he has more confidence in my abilities of getting things done than I do in myself! That & he can sure be a slave drive! *crack!* oh d*mn! there's the whip, time to put my nose back to the grindstone!) nah, I know how long it takes to put together a quality production, but like Diva said, we'll wait, but not patiently!

Deploys the budding Time Lord's sonic umbrella. Surely the canopy (with the print of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night') is blowie uppie proof!

My son is a train eficionado (well as much as he can be at 6)...and he's a Thomas the Tank fan, sorry Red ;D So yes, we would soooo be there. It would be great to finally meet all of you terrific people

An ApologyAnyway, them Artie's Angels, they's jes' 'bout ready to hold a necktie party with me 'n' Ace as guests of honor, 'cause we done scared you off. I highly doubt if you scared Paul off. He seemed pretty fearless to me! I think it's more a matter of him getting home and spending a belated birthday with his family. That and getting/starting another gig. Actors ALWAYS have to look for the next opportunity. That's (a vital) part of the business.

(Aw, c'mon Nydiva, you know if I'm writing in accent, it's me horsing around again. In a way, it was another of those fanfics that stuck in my brain and would not NOT be written.)

Yeah, that's how I'm starting to feel ...I think you might be using too many colloquialisms, Ace, and we'ins are gettin' con-foos-ed.

There was a case where hijacking a thread and horsing around apparently scared off an actress from the Lost World when she joined that board. For her, I think it was the very first time she had encountered a message board and really had no clue what was going on! Hopefully Paul and the others have more experience.

Actually, Cal, part of my surprise when Paul showed up in the midst of Ace and me playing, was that it was after midnight here in Texas. I'm assuming the man has just been too busy to come back -- after all, unlike some of us (read: me), he has a life!
But the apology started jumping around in my brain and I finally had to write it down. And, yes, post it...

I have no doubt that Paul is a lot more familiar with internet antics than the actress I mentioned did. This was in the late 90s I believe, and she had almost no computer experience. Folks on the board got over excited when they realized it was actually HER posting. ;D She did come back later to post answers to questions fans submitted (in a little more controlled situation ).

Hi Folks! So here is our official "post production" report. "TNOT Golden Spikes" first (of two) principle photography shoots has finished! After 7 days of filming we have 28 1/2 pages shot and "in the can" - in addition to a couple "surprises" That's 4 pages a day that was shot at three different "locations" - which is quite a pace for such a small crew that is not using a "studio building"!! There is another 30 pages to shoot at more complicated locations than we used this time, as well as at the studio. So we're about half way there! As James said earlier, he'll be setting dates for the second shoot for sometime after the holidays. I'll be sure to post the information on it as soon as we have it! Of course the "varnish car" (the train car we are used to seeing West and Gordon in) appears in this script. That set is at our studio building and is not yet 100% complete. The actual "Wanderer" - the train we see in W3 still exists and James and other producers have been in contact with the owners since long before we had any scripts: so you can expect to see her too. On behalf of the production, I would like to thank all of our dedicated and hard working crew for this shoot. Cawley Entertainment Company/Retro Film Studios is used to having 150-200 crew for it's shoots - so when we say THANK YOU we mean it. Everyone (including actors) chipped in and did whatever was needed (so the credits below are not "final") - it was a wonderful family and team effort this time out. And, frankly, the fun never ended! Our 30 member GS crew: James Cawley - "West", costume designer, artistic director, props and Senior Exec Producer Mark Burchett - director Patty Wright - writer, costume designer, makeup lead, associate producer, assistant to James, props, assistant director Patrick Bell - production assistant, "Ben" Kevin Sullivan - Director of Photography, Lighting designer, firearms supervisor, set medic, assistant director, digital injest lead Casey C. Skahan - production assistant, set dresser Captain's Woman - clapper/1st assistant camera, grip and electric team, senior production assistant Diva - production assistant, craft services, extra Snish - production assistant, craft services, extra Andrew Grieb - "Lincoln", production assistant, set photographer Emlee Vassilos - "Villianess"(name to be released later), makeup artist, script/continuity supervisor William Teegarden - makeup/hair artist, grip and electric team Jonathan Carter Schall - "Booth" Derick Easton - grip and electric team Paul R. Sieber - "Gordon" Ronald M. Gates - "Hewes", grip and electric team, production assistant Brian Covault - "Safford", grip and electric team Chris LaRoche - "Servant", grip and electric team Debby Huth - "Mary Todd", Script/continuity supervisor, assistant director Mark Strock - "Grant", grip and electric team, transportation captain, production assistant, set photographer Leila Burris - extra, production assistant Robert Reed - sound designer, set photographer, boom mic operator, digital injest Tony Falvo - sound engineer, boom mic operator, video engineer Jessie Mailhotte - senior production assistant, clapper Debbie Mailhotte - senior production assistant, assistant to James, set photographer, set videographer Jeff Mailhotte - set construction/dresser, grip and electric team, clapper, "the guy that showed West the way on the blooper" Riva Gijanto Burris - hair/makeup artist Charles Root - "Banker", producer Michael Stern - "Jerry", visual continuity, set photographer, transportation, production assistant David Sherin - "Weld" Gwen Wilkens - extra, production assistant, grip and electric team Rick Bruns - extra, production assistant, grip and electric team We'd also like to thank the folks at our three (undisclosed) locations for rolling out the red carpet and staying through meals and late into the night so we could film; and the owner of the motel that gave us discount lodging and put up with our "producer rooms" and equipment storage. AND we'd like to thank everyone here for the enthusiasm and support that energized us and kept us going through long days. You fans are the BEST and we hope a lot of you can join us for the next shoot. Can't wait to share the complete teaser with you soon! LOTS of special effects being added to our footage - but you won't notice most of it! More photos coming soon!

Dieter, I think, from what I read, that just the first half will be done at that time and they will begin the second shoot then! That would be so cool. I could use a vacation to Upstate NY in January...LOL!

Actually, Cal, part of my surprise when Paul showed up in the midst of Ace and me playing, was that it was after midnight here in Texas. Actors tend to keep late hours. Part of it is "winding down" after a performance. I usually feel that way myself from just seeing a show!

Just wish I had a chance to talk more to the technical crew, but I was afraid of klutzing out and knocking stuff over - or tripping on all those cables. Thank YOU for being such an integral part of resurrecting something near and dear to all our hearts.

And I guessed earlier about the train! Yes, more photos. More, more, more, more, MORE! I'm not greedy or anything... I may sound like a broken record (that statement alone dates me!), but THANK YOU again and again and again and again!
