I sure hope that was approved by Paul!! Oh it was! We came up with a few designations and had HIM choose!!! ;D Whatta guy!! I'll gladly call myself one of Paul's Pets. Not the strangest of the 'group names' I've had the honor to take on. (That would be 'Outside Half, Victoria's Secret Rugby Team')

I was just at my local CVS ordering prints from this weekend; and as I went through on the photo kiosk, adjusted, cropped, etc., the cashier came over and said he just HAD to know what was causing the "biggest smile I've ever seen". ;D
Sigh...Patty - when IS the next shoot?! (Kidding - recover from the first one and THEN I'll bug you!)

Cawley's Cadre...I like it but Cadre is usually a negative term. Well, the Merriam-Webster on-line dictionary defines it as: a nucleus or core group especially of trained personnel able to assume control and to train others; broadly : a group of people having some unifying relationshipNot negative in that connotation. The only other "C" word would be "Cadets". (I feel that "Crew" is a bit confusing as James already has a film crew.)

Thanks for all those pics, Patty! If that isn't the same coat, it sure is one just like it. My thought was, would they remove the labels when they dyed the coat? Since the labels would pick up the dye too and perhaps become unreadable anyway. Just a thought. James knows a great deal about costumes, so I expect he's right and the jacket was simply made on the same pattern. No matter what source the costumes came from, they (and the guys in them) look mighty fine! Thanks, Patty, for making me carpet the floor with pillows once again!!!

He was too young to remember; and WWW hasn't played anywhere near NY (as far as I know) for decades.

Interesting! Ladies. Guess who's here? SQUEEEEE!!! Welcome aboard, so happy to have you! Um... believe it or not, there are one or two male members on this board too... Hello Tony, I don't think I even said a word to you when we were there. You were too busy doing actual work while we hung around! Yes, Riva rules! I've never had eyes like that before. It sort of felt like you have always been part of the crew ....I didnt even relaize you were new till the 2cd day ...but thats just me I zone into what i am doing to make sure its done right the first time

What I can't believe is that you busy, BUSY people have taken the time to visit our whimsical little corner of the net with the shoot scheduled to be wrapped in only two days. On the other hand, everyone was so darn wonderful - I guess I do believe it after all! ;D I so wish I had gotten the chance to talk to the technical crew - but I was terrified of going near enough to snag a cable and ruin the set up. (My picture is next to the dictionary definition of "klutz".)

You were a pleasure to be around and we all hope you'll join us again! Mark Burchett Mark! You are SO VERY, VERY welcome. But it's Snish and I who should be thanking YOU. And thanking everyone. LOTS. We loved every minute of it (well, maybe not the part when I was trapped in that corset! ). I'll be sure to dig out my old Dark Shadows photos and scan some for you this weekend. I'll check with Patty for the best way to email them to you. Believe me, I'd LOVE to come back again. And if I was excited the first time round, just knowing the wonderful people to come back to makes me all the more thrilled and eager.

It is so cool to see all of these pictures and to hear how great it was to be on the set. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product. A couple of questions. Is there a summary for the story? Then showing Jim and Artie with President Grant and with Jim in military uniform and President Lincon and JWB, are there flashbacks?
It's looking great!!!
