Cool pic of the "new" Jim & Artie. I saw that on Jim's Face book last night. Better go check to see if there's more now. Great Job, Jim!! Looks to be a terrific ep like the good ol days of the original!!

Yeah--I was wondering who's gonna be in charge of music for the show. Will there be a new version of the famous WWW theme score and new cool music for the cliffhanger bumpers, etc. Music was just one of the many highlights of the classic original!!

The more retro tv I watch the more I hear music from WWW, both in earlier and later shows. Hawaii 5-0 has some, as does Perry Mason, I believe.

Looking at Paul's jacket here, the collar is wider, where Ross's is notched and close to the same size as the lapel.

No, somewhere someone was asking if it was Ross's original jacket! I was just taking a look at the two together to figure it out! Honest!

Maybe the pic I'm thinking of is one I took myself! I'll have to see if it's posted somewhere. Um, after I go do more real work....

Ah -- got it. If we ever finish school today *glares at son* I could take a look for meself. Poor kid! The lamp on his desk went out, and in trying to deal with it, he accidentally touched the bulb! So now he's got his hand buried in a bowl of frozen veggies. But we got everything but the last of his written work and the typing lesson done. Letting him rest for now till the pain passes.

ouch!! I am very familiar with burns from bulbs from my younger days and still today burns from the stupid oven mits not going far enough up my arm and burning my arm on the stupid oven racks! as I'm sure you've all noticed, it was absolutely impossible for me to concentrate at work today...

Okay - one more "designation" and that's that. I've been thinking a LOT lately about how amazing James has been to us (and to everyone), how sweet he is, how multi-talented and thoughtful (not to mention tolerant ). Without his dedication and an astonishing amount of hard work, there would be no further adventures of our beloved heroes. If anyone deserves a category around here, it's him. So I propose "Cawley's Cadre". I simply couldn't find another appropriate "J" and we can't call two groups "Jewels". So - barring any objections from James {{{{waving sheepishly}}}, by the authority invested in me by absolutely no one, I hereby elect myself a founding member of "Cawley's Cadre". S'right?

Oh bad thing. Pour vanilla or vanilla extract on a paper towel and keep applying it to the burn. It will sting a little as it pulls the heat out but there will be no scar or blister if you do it right.

Cawley's Cadre...I like it but Cadre is usually a negative term.

Just checked with him, and he says his finger is feeling much better now.

This is the coat being discussed: The folks at Western Costume believe it's the coat Martin wore in "The Night of the Watery Death" : over-dyed brown to hide stains. James doesn't think it is. Part of his reasons are that it has no WC label, no name label, and more importantly, no serial number label - which WC always puts on when they are used in a series so that the exact piece can be pulled again if a "reshoot" needs to be done. James is usually right about these things. Here is the jacket from the episode:

Ok, as a looooong time Gilbert & Sullivan aficionada, my antennae went up on the phrase 'patter song' -- please, what patter song? *salivating* Love the pics! This is me 'cause Snish got a kiss from Artie, heh heh.Oh, if only they were shooting in southmost Texas! *whimper* Major General? *SNERK* No, I think more central in Texas would suit better. Really, the Missions in not-southmost South Texas hold a lot of promise. Hmm, screen-play plot bunny?

Thanks for all those pics, Patty! If that isn't the same coat, it sure is one just like it. My thought was, would they remove the labels when they dyed the coat? Since the labels would pick up the dye too and perhaps become unreadable anyway. Just a thought. James knows a great deal about costumes, so I expect he's right and the jacket was simply made on the same pattern.
