Oh my! Jeremy Pike is among us! Does Pidge know? Welcome sir. The season 2 promo...wonder if it is on YouTube? If you do a search of Ptolemy's videos there you might find it. I think it is Ptolemy1961 (or another year close to that )

Welcome jeremypike! Are we talking about a promo that ran during the original airing or a promo for the second season DVDs? Not familiar with either one but would enjoy seeing it myself!

Hello, hello,
The promo was broadcast during season 2 back in the 60's and an announcer exclaims proudly: "Go gunning for adventure and you will find it in THE WILD WILD WEST... It's THE WILD WILD WEST for a showdown with adventure." It's tracked with Richard Shores' dynamic music for "The Night of the Eccentric".

Crumbs! The promo I was thinking of on YouTube was removed due to terms of use violation. I will keep looking though.

Oh--Paradox Eyes it's the original promo for season 2 on CBS made in 1966. I'll try to figure out my dvd recorder. I have so much to record, you won't believe. I still owe CalGal the original Inferno with extra scenes and original opening and bumpers too.

Btw--Where did you first hear about the 1966 promo? Most people never heard about it and I just got it by accident included in a dvd of original WWW eps with original commercials from 1965.

More than ten years ago, I received a VHS filled with 15 minutes of promos from 1960's series. I wrote down a checklist of all season 2 episodes* used for that promo. But now, I need the exact scenes descriptions with the timings. Thanks.
PS: You can send me the video file via a share files website if you like.
*: "The Night of the Surreal McCoy" "The Night of the Tontterine Tontine" "The Night of the Feathered Fury" "The Night of the Cadre" "The Night of the Brain" "The Night of the Deadly Bubble" "The Night of the Deadly Blossom"

The season 2 promo is a tight montage and I remember by heart the showdown between West and Gordon (disguised as Lighting McCoy) from "TNot Surreal McCoy" and the hooded men who tied in West to a red rocket from "TNot Tontterine Tontine".

Yep--Those are included and the bombs blowing up as Jim is running in Cadre. It's been a while since I watched it but know where it is!

Yes, indeed, there is Jim running, hitting a landmine followed by a freeze frame from "The Night of the Cadre". Let us inform about the date of uploading on YouTube. Thanks. Best.

I WILL get to it. I've been working 7 days a week and am giving the dvd to someone else who knows how to do it. I have NO time available myself for stuff like that, unfortunately. So-- I will let you know when it gets on YouTube eventually.

A very belated welcome to Mr. Pike. I think he is the second cousin on the father's side of my closet buddy. If you hear us talking about the "other" Jeremy, pay no attention. He just happens to be my favorite actor. ;D But welcome to our happy WWW home.
