I was going thru a bunch of boxes and stacks of stuff I have not visited in a while and found a stack of these. I thought I had lost most of them. A few survived the rambles of radio vagabond. Ann used to have at me for changing my address so much. The weird thing was most of the moves were local.
I remember well the 1st time I talked to Ann about the show and the little fanzine she had. Sue had mentioned her and it in the back of the Wild Wild West bible she wrote, told that she was in Indy. I got her number and called her. I think, I was the only one to ever do it. She was startled and a bit reserved. I got the info I wanted and subscribed and just talked to her for a bit. I called her several times and talked to her in the early days. We became friends and stayed in touch til she lost interest in the fanzine. I met Valerie who was her assistant as she lived in FL and I met another contributor and fan of the show in Greg L. who lived in Lakeland.
Much like here, I liked to try and stay under the radar and very seldom wrote anything. I did send a lot of drawings and doodles. Ann gave me credit and I would get free issues, I ended up getting all for free... I had so many credits. the last one I got was 104. I had a whole set at one time, but lost a bunch of stuff when Hurricane Elena hit the west coast of FL in 85.
I have blocked out some things in the letters pages like 1st names and addresses. As I doubt some of the people wouldn't want too much of a internet footprint. Maybe you will see someone you know. I only see one person here and now from there and then.
I just picked one at random to post and see that it has a fan fiction story in it. I left the fellows name on it. Sorry, I don't believe I have the 1st part. maybe someone here has some of the issues and can post them.
here is the 1st half..... I will post more as I get a chance.
